Fall Fun at Circle B Organics Farm

Today we took a trip to Circle B Organics Farm in Lyons, NY. Our goal was to find an organic orchard with you pick apples, but happily, the more we learned about Circle B, the more certain we were that we’d want to spend more than a couple hours apple picking.

What a wonderful place to get food, especially on a gorgeous fall day. The knowledgeable owner helped us a great deal, with everything from selecting eggs from the chicken coop to determining if golden raspberries are ripe.

Here’s an idea of their offerings. Everything is organic and fresh:

  • Apples (picked or you pick)
  • Raspberries (picked or you pick)
  • Apple cider
  • Pumpkins
  • Squash of all shapes, sizes and colors
  • Garlic
  • Oregano
  • Wheat
  • Honey, raw honey, creamed honey, buckwheat honey
  • Grapes
  • Eggs
  • Chicken
  • Beef

I highly recommend checking out this farm next time you want to make a day of raspberry or apple picking — or if you’re seeking any of these items I mentioned. Venturing to Lyons for this beautiful, humble organic farm is worth the drive.
