Tickets on Sale Tomorrow for Nickel City Chef: Season Five
Feed Your Soul, the production company of Nickel City Chef, has been hard at work lining up secret ingredients, special guest judges and challenging chefs for the fifth season of cooking competitions in the fashion of Food Network’s Iron Chef. In case you didn’t hear, the 2012 season sold out in under 45 minutes!
Taking place in the stunning loft showroom of Artisan Kitchens & Baths on Amherst Street in Buffalo, tickets for the 2013 season go on sale tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 4, at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $38 each and include catered gourmet snacks and access to a cash bar during the event. Each show is hosted by WBFO’s Bert Gambini and Buffalo’s top chef, Chef Mike Andrzejewski.
Links to online ticketing are available via NickelCityChef.com. Here’s this year’s exciting lineup:
Feb. 24
Nickel City Chef JJ Richert of Torches versus Challenging Chef of Michale Obarka of Ristorante Lombardo
March 10
Nickel City Chef Jennifer Boye of Mansion on Delaware Avenue versus Challenging Chef Teddy Bryant of Lloyd Taco
March 24
Nickel City Chef Brian Mietus of Bacchus versus Challenging Chef Jason LaMotte of Global Spectrum
April 14
Nickel City Chef Adam Goetz of Sample versus Challenging Chef Edward Forster of Mike A @ Hotel Lafayette
I attended several Feed Your Soul and Nickel City Chef events last year and each was incredibly fun and entertaining. I also saw Chef Teddy Bryant win the first ever Firing Line competition, which is modeled after the popular show, “Chopped,” and that was amazing. Seeing him compete in the NCC competition will be a blast, no doubt.
Good luck scoring tickets! See you there!
